Tokyo Steel hikes scrap purchasing prices again

It's reported that Japan's Tokyo Steel announced to hike its scrap purchasing prices by ¥500/ton~¥1,000/ton at its five works from December 21st.

After the adjustment, its H2 scrap purchasing prices averaged at ¥26,000~¥28,000/ton.

Among them, the H2 scrap purchasing prices in Okayama plant is at ¥27,000~¥27,500/ton; that in Kyushu plant is at ¥27,000/ton; that in Tahara plant is at ¥26,500/ton; that in Utsunomiya plant is at ¥28,000/ton and that in Takamatsu steel center is at ¥26,000/ton.
