Tokyo Steel hikes scrap purchasing prices again

It's reported that Japan's Tokyo Steel announced to hike its scrap purchasing prices by ￥500/ton~￥1,000/ton at its five works from December 21st.

After the adjustment, its H2 scrap purchasing prices averaged at ￥26,000~￥28,000/ton.

Among them, the H2 scrap purchasing prices in Okayama plant is at ￥27,000~￥27,500/ton; that in Kyushu plant is at ￥27,000/ton; that in Tahara plant is at ￥26,500/ton; that in Utsunomiya plant is at ￥28,000/ton and that in Takamatsu steel center is at ￥26,000/ton.
